Ms. Lisa has her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education & English from Canisius College, and her Master's Degree in Applied Theatre: Drama in Educational, Community and Social Contexts from Goldsmiths, University of London. She has been teaching students in a variety of settings over the past 19 years -  at preschool, middle school, and directing children's theatre. Ms. Lisa believes all students can learn. She loves using music, art and dramatic play with her students.

When she's not at Sweet Charlotte's, Ms. Lisa is planning vacations for clients, or working as the TIES coordinator for Clarence (pairing children with special needs with peer volunteers so that they can attend activities). Over the summer she directs musicals with students ages 7-18 at O'Connell & Company. She lives in Clarence with her husband, four daughters, and dog, Coco. In her free time, Ms. Lisa loves to travel, sing, dance, bake, ski, read, and go on adventures with her family.

Ms. Melissa has her Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts from SUNY Fredonia. After 15+ years working in advertising Melissa has spent the last 10 years working full time as an advocate for individuals with disabilities. She is a Board member for the Down Syndrome Parents Group of Western New York and has served as the organization’s Communication Coordinator since 2017.  She has also been a Co-chair of the annual awareness walk, Step Up for Down Syndrome since 2019, bringing thousands of people together to celebrate individuals with Down syndrome, their gifts and potential in our community; and is a past coach of the WNY youth Special Olympics team, Young Athletes.

Ms. Melissa lives in Clarence with her three boys (Joey, Sebastian and Daniel) and husband (Dan). When she is not at Sweet Charlottes Ms. Melissa is driving one of the boys to sports practice, or making someone a snack. Ms. Melissa loves Wednesday date night and eating tacos. In her free time, she likes to relax and read.
